Ice Storm hits Vermont: Crews plow downed trees instead of snow as ice build up on trees becomes the enemy Sunday morning, bringing down power lines, cuttinh power to tens of thousands and clogging roadways as crews try to keep up.

Crew from across the state descended on the Champlain Valley, the Northeast Kingdom and other parts of northern Vermont after ice-laden trees snapped, bringing down power lines and cutting power to tens of thousands.
